I really really loved this book. Saxton and Kambry had great chemistry. And the things that came out of that man's mouth! (swoon) I really enjoyed the flow of the book. Yes there was instant attraction and things happened pretty quickly not long after they meet but that didn't bother me. They did things and got to know eachother and they were fun and playful. The sex was not too much in my opinion it was just right. And even though he was a porn star I liked that everything they did even as hot and sexy as it was I felt it was raw and real. I took my time with this book because I just did not want to say goodbye to Sax and Kambry I want more of them! I'm glad we'll get more of them in the future I'm looking forward to more fun and oh so sexy times with these two. And I hope we'll even get Meredith and Ben in the future too. A sexy, hot love story that showed you what happens when two total opposites attract in the most unlikely way. With Kambry being a virgin and Saxton a porn star what could happen? Oh a whole lot of connection, sex, love and most of all finding yourself. This book was so much more than a book about sex. I felt that you get invested with the characters and want to know their story. The story was very well written, flowed well and gives you a open mind not to judge people for what they are but rather who they are. Well done Charisse! I can't wait to read what you come up with next!
This book was recommended to me by several friends. Virgin meets porn star. It seemed that maybe it was going to be one of those taboo romance novels that you would never admit out loud that you had read. Since the characters are very young, it is New Adult, however, rather than calling it romantic comedy, I would probably describe it more as erotica, because as anyone would expect with the title, it is loaded down with sex.
Saxton, the porn star who is twenty five is introduced to us, as well as Kambry, the eighteen year old who leaves home to find herself. They both have their personal issues, but they connect right away. It’s not long before you kind of forget the porn part and seeing it as romance. Saxton really is a sweetheart.
The side character, Meredith really made me want to pull my hair out when it got to the long parts with just Kambry and her. I found myself trying to get through those pages and skimming paragraphs really fast to get back to the main story of Sax and Kamry. For me, less from Meredith would have been so much more when it comes to enjoying the book. Although, I will admit the connection between Meredith and Kambry’s brother Ben did interest me enough that if there is a book for those two, I will likely read it.
Overall, I enjoyed the book very much. It was well written, loaded with steamy goodness and the romance was sweet. I am giving it four stars rather than five, because it was a little too long for me, with too many pages of jibber jabber that I didn’t need to get the full story. I enjoyed it enough that I will be looking for more from this author.
I have been patiently waiting for this book to be released and the wait was so worth it! Charisse has a way with words and definitely did not disappoint with this release. The way she tells a story is unlike others.
These characters are unforgettable, they will stay with you forever! There are many reasons I absolutely loved this book, one of main reasons? Saxton! He is not your typical guy, or porn star for matter. Who doesn't love to read about a guy who is a millionaire, buys everything, has the huge glass house, does no wrong and showers his girlfriend with endless gifts? We all love to read and fantasize about those types of guys, but Saxton is even better than that! He's not flashy, he's not cocky, he is as real as it gets! He's hot, he's funny, he's down-to-earth and I can honestly say I don't think I've ever met a character in a book that I've loved more. You'll see. Kambry is a great match for him. She keeps him on his toes. Wait until you meet Kambry's friend Meredith. Oh, Meredith! One-of-a-kind!
The story Charisse weaves in this book is as good as it gets! I'll admit, I had a pre-conceived idea of what it would be and I was SO pleasantly surprised! She is such a thorough writer and leaves nothing out. I finished the book with a huge sigh and was actually sad that it ended. I'm going to miss these two! And Meredith, too!
I'm not one to read short books, I feel as if I get cheated out of getting to know the characters, their depth. This is a long book with great character development and a FANTASTIC story line. Get it! 1-click it! And enjoy the ride that Saxton and Kambry take you on. I definitely did!
I enjoyed this read. I love this author and that she brings new stories to this reading community. The idea is on point and Sax, is AWESOME. He is so calm and dominating. I love his mistakes, making him human; I love his ideas for hanging out, wanting more than just sex; I love his complexity. Kam is a novice but definitely not a baby cub. She is all momma bear. She is a new to the game of sex and love but she does not take what is told of her without given back some spunk if she does not agree.
Mer is the best character of all and I hope she gets her own book. Supporting members made this book whole.
This book is amazing. I hated having to put it down. You fall in love with Saxton and Kambry (which is a awesome name) so fast like in the first few pages you are already hooked. I am so glad that i found this author she is amazing. the way she puts her words down and her story just flows. There aren't enough words to tell you how good this book is. The only way for you to know is to one click it. She is an author that is going somewhere. No thats wrong she is there. This chick has skills. Saxton and Kambry's story will blow you away. Then when you are finished reading you want more. Just one click. you will not regret it.
